Psychotherapy

Couples Counselling

Couples counselling is open to anyone regardless of age, gender, type or duration of relationship.  Couples counselling can help gain a better understanding of each other, improve communication, problem solve and reduce conflict.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

CBT focuses on challenging and changing unhelpful thoughts and behaviours; and developing coping strategies.  CBT is commonly used to treat mood and anxiety disorders but can be useful for other mental and emotional difficulties.

Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT)

DBT is often used to treat borderline or emotionally unstable personality disorder but the skills it teaches are helpful to most people.  DBT focuses on emotional regulation, tolerating distress, interpersonal relationships, and mindfulness.

Behavioural Family Therapy (BFT)

BFT was originally designed to help families where there is enduring mental ill-health however this practical skills-based approach can help all families with improving communication, problem solving, reducing stress, and achieving goals.
